An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join our Team.

Job Description
In this role you will be assisting fee-earners with their property caseload throughout all stages of the transaction from initial instruction through to completion. The successful candidate will have a background in conveyancing or be a law/LPC graduate with a passion for residential property work.
 
The main responsibilities of the role include:
• File creation using our Case Management System
• Monitoring incoming post and email correspondence
• Generating initial client care letters and fee quotations
• Undertaking AML checks for new clients
• Attending to clients on the telephone, and in person when required
• Requesting redemption statements
• Completing sales/purchases and assisting with the release of funds
• Post-completion duties, registering purchases and file closures
• Assisting with the billing process
• General administrative tasks
 
Applicant Criteria
Desirable skills and experience:
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• A positive attitude and a commercial awareness;
• Organised and methodical approach with good attention to detail
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
